ARTIST INSPIRATION

NUNA DA COSTA

Nuna da Costa has always been a big inspiration for me when it comes to illustration. Bold lines accentuate key details in his work and negative space is used in a positive and effective way.

Costa is a London born fashion and beauty illustrator who has been commissioned by the likes of British Vogue, Dior, Swarovski, The Telegraph & much more.

ROMARE BEARDAN

Romare Beardan is quite the contrary to Nuna da Costa, he collaged body parts to create new faces and scenes. His work filled the whole canvas and he left no negative space, using mixed medias including various papers with ink and graphite on cardboard.
