Have you ever wondered what would happen to certain objects, should you radically change their original functionality? Ultimately, we would not be able to use them for their intended use. Giuseppe Colarusso is an Italian artist/photographer who uses a good sense of humor to transform everyday objects through witty photo manipulations into images that get you thinking of the impossible. The project is called "Improbabilita" (Unlikely) and is a playful exploration of objects and their function.
Colarusso who uses CAD for this project, describes his work as, "a kind of surreal still life, a collection of imaginary objects, that are unlikely but not impossible".
Throughout the project you'll come across pint glasses attached to each other, a spray can with different colour settings and an orange turned into a tap. Some of the objects receive a new function once transformed and others become virtually impossible to use, imagine trying to use the cutlery with rope handles. Overall the series of images gets you to pause and think of the playful creativeness behind each of the new-found pieces of art.
